Playing with Fireworks
All of the art in this exhibit derives from one or more of over 280 photographs of fireworks, taken on July 4, 2014 at Rockaway Beach, Oregon. The exhibited photographs represent the artist’s creation of figures and objects through imaginative alteration, distortion and/or in combination with other recognizable objects.
Some of these pieces are best described as whimsical; others are intended to spur the senses to explore what exists or what can be imagined or extracted from light, captured in a few brief seconds.
